There are 3 selection tabs: Filter, Sort and Display. When you press the Search button 0 or more thumbnail images will appear below the search button in a manner that reflects the choices made in the 3 tabs.

Start say by making sure the Filter tab is selected. Then check the box next to the Portrait node in the Subject Hierarchy. Then press Search button. Around 77 items should be returned. You can then click on any image to go to more detailed screen. Press Return button to get back to this screen.

Then check say box next to Middle on the Year Made Hierarchy. Then press Search button. You should get only 43 items now. Continue in this vein.

The Sort Tab controls the order the images are shown in. The Display Tab allows additional info to be displayed. Use the mouse to drag boxes to the left panel as instructed.

For advanced users. Use "artsys_in_list(....)" tag in the Name search box to provide your own list of work_ids to include. For example artsys_in_list(1,2,3) will include only works with ids 1,2 and 3.
